The Duck Is Returning!

Yikes! It wasn't until we were dusting the ashes off all the old relics in the office that it struck us that Duck Soup has been around 27 years. Imagine that... most of us can't see that far back very clearly, including us.

27 years is a long time... particularly with one company. But as we dug through what we could salvage after the fire in January, our memories and vision became clearer. We began walking down the proverbial memory lane and, well, it was pretty significant. Lots of laughs...a zillion stories and characters, a few tender moments... and most of all, some very loyal and wonderful customers. We are so thankful for all of you.

We would have not been drawn into that daily reminiscence had business continued as usual... and we are not ones to dwell in the past. But we were unexpectedly given the chance, and being (somewhat!) thankful for that, now know that it is time to round up the goats and get this goat rodeo underway. Oops. Make that ducks! What is water under the bridge (or down the creek behind the parking lot) is just that. It is time to move forward... time to cast our gazes to what lies ahead. Specifically, welcome to our electronic world... quackquackquack.com.

This is great fun for us, and we hope it will be for you as well. We are taking our motley 27 years of history and refocusing all of it into our new store and our new web site. We promise you more of the same great Duck Soup customer service, amazing array of specialty gourmet foods and accessories... and, of course, heaping portions of our madcap humor. Hold onto your hats and stay tuned... The Duck has returned!
